Male, born in April 1954 in Dalian, Liaoning Province, member of China Association for Promoting Democracy, bachelor of education, graduated from the Department of Education, Beijing Normal University, currently serving as a distinguished professor of Shenzhen University, honorary president of Bay Area Institute of Education, doctoral supervisor, deputy director of Education Commission of the CPC Central Committee, executive director of Chinese Society of Education, vice chairman of Academic Committee of Moral Education, honorary chairman of Educational Theory Publication Branch of Chinese Society of Education, chief expert of “Teacher Ethics” Program of National Training Base for Primary and Secondary School Teachers Approved by the Ministry of Education, President and Director of Academic Committee of Liaoning Society of Education, and President of Dalian Society of Education. He is an expert who enjoys the special allowance of the State Council, national model teacher, winner of the national outstanding contribution award for graduate education, provincial excellent expert, provincial May 1 Labor Medal winner, provincial famous teacher, municipal model worker (twice), and municipal excellent expert (three times).

Research Field: Mainly engaged in moral education, basic theory of education, education policy and management, and other aspects of research and teaching.

Research Achievements: He has presided over more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial research projects, such as “Research on the Sinicization Construction of Teachers’ Professional Ethics Theory and Its Application Strategy”, “Survey and Analysis on the Situation of Chinese Children and Teenagers’ View of Integrity and Countermeasures for Improvement” and “Theoretical Research on Cultivating Students’ Practical Ability in Quality Education”.

He has put forward a large number of advisory suggestions and proposals for governments at all levels, among which some important advisory suggestions have been approved by state and provincial leaders.

Awards: The Demand-oriented Overall Teaching Reform of Education led by him won the first prize of National Teaching Achievement Award. In addition, more than 10 research achievements, such as “Research on the Development of Chinese Children and Teenagers’ View of Integrity”, “Education and Culture”, “Reform of Labor Market and Self-regulation of Education”, “On Punishment in Education”, “Real Moral Conflict and Students’ Moral Development”, have won the first and second prize of provincial or ministerial level in national outstanding research achievement awards for educational science or provincial achievement awards for philosophy and social science.
