Exciting News on 2024-2025 Undergraduate Admissions Promotion

On October 23, 2024, Shenzhen University successfully convened the 2024 Undergraduate Admissions Summary and Recognition Meeting and the 2025 Undergraduate Admissions Promotion Mobilization Conference. The Faculty of Education received numerous awards, including “First Prize for Outstanding Admissions Promotion Work Group”, “First Prize for Outstanding Out-of-Province Admissions Promotion Responsibility Group”, “Outstanding Contribution Award”, and “Excellent Liaison Officer Award”. Following the meeting, Associate Dean Li Penghu shared valuable experiences with all admissions promotion staff.


   

   



                               

                   

                           



In the 2023-2024 academic year, under the leadership of Li Chen, Party Secretary of the Faculty of Education; Jin Yule, Dean; Li Jun, Executive Dean; and Li Penghu, Associate Dean, the undergraduate admissions promotion team adhered to the overall plan set forth by the university’s admissions office. Considering past enrollment numbers and student quality, the team targeted key high schools in the Heyuan region of Guangdong Province and Shanxi Province. This precise and strategic approach ensured the effectiveness of promotional efforts. Furthermore, the team thoroughly implemented the “High School Responsibility System”, with each key high school in Guangdong Province assigned a designated staff member for focused follow-up. Responsibilities were clearly defined, ensuring targeted and accountable admissions efforts. To meet practical needs, the team leveraged the “Hometown Faculty Database”, mobilizing faculty, current students, and alumni to collaborate in promoting admissions within their respective regions. This strategic effort yielded significant results. Notably, for the targeted province of Shanxi, the minimum and average admission rankings have maintained the highest annual growth rates at the university for two consecutive years.
