The degree conferral followed, with Jin Yule, Li Jun, Zhao Mingren, and Cao Xiaoming presenting degree certificates to the graduates.

Su Beiyi, a master’s student in Education and Party member, spoke as the graduate representative. She reflected on her academic journey, likening it to bougainvillea proclaiming its vibrant vitality; expressed gratitude for the fertile soil of Lychee Garden, endowing students with both resilient armor and a tender core; and looked forward to a bright future, taking root across the world with courage to “stand firm” and act boldly.
Chen Huiting, an undergraduate in Preschool Education (Teacher Training) and Party member, spoke as the undergraduate representative. She shared insights on the “cultivation” of teacher trainees over four years—diligent study to arm oneself with knowledge, critical thinking to discern truth, and steadfast action to interpret education across various domains.

Finally, Jin Yule delivered a heartfelt address titled “Embracing the Warm Power of Humanity” to the 2025 graduates. He offered four aspirations for the graduates setting sail on their new journey: First, embrace love. Love is a positive emotion and a key ability to foster growth. Especially for those dedicated to education, love is the soul of the profession; second, cultivate an appreciative perspective. Appreciation reflects a positive mindset, gathering positive energy. In education, appreciation can ignite students’ hearts; third, uphold the nature of kindness. Kindness is a sincere expression of emotion and a noble spiritual realm; education should be a vehicle for fostering kindness; fourth, learn to be inclusive. Inclusivity is a traditional Chinese virtue, reflecting the wisdom of the Chinese people and an indispensable force in education. He encouraged everyone to strive toward a life of love, appreciation, kindness, and inclusivity, using these warm human qualities to forge a beautiful life chapter.

As you embark on a boundless journey, may the 2025 graduates of the Faculty of Education carry warmth and strength, venture to mountains and seas, and shine brilliantly with a path full of blossoms.
